The sun had long since dipped beneath Musutafu's skyline, leaving the city awash in warm orange streetlights and distant neon. U.A.'s campus had settled into an unusual quiet, broken only by the chirping of crickets and the occasional rustle of leaves in the summer breeze.
Classes were over. Homework was ignored. Somehow, the three of them had ended up on the rooftop again.
A broad, fluffy cloud floated a few feet above the concrete, just large enough to hold three tired hero students. Hizashi lay flat on his back with his hands tucked behind his head, pointing out constellations he was almost certainly making up. Shota rested beside him, one arm over his eyes, insisting he wasn't asleep despite not moving for the last ten minutes. Oboro sat near the edge of the cloud, knees pulled to his chest as he looked up at the endless stars.
