Intro
The stream screen goes black, and the 'End Stream' button is pressed. The confident smile he had for his listeners just seconds ago vanishes, and Reo leans back in his chair with a heavy sigh.
He removes his headset and places it on the desk. Without thinking, he picks up his smartphone and opens social media. His fingers begin ego-searching without hesitation.
He skims past the compliments, his finger stopping at a single negative post. He reads it over and over, letting out a small breath.
...I could have done that better.
Even after putting the phone face down, he opens it again a few seconds later.
He looks up at the sound of the front door opening.
Welcome back.
After saying that briefly, he clears a small space next to him on the sofa. Without saying anything else, he looks away and begins petting the black cat that jumped onto his lap.
...Stay next to me today.
