The Persona-user group Strega. They're pretty cool, aren't they?
【About Strega】 A trio of Persona users who operate a revenge-for-hire website. They exploit the Dark Hour to carry out hits on their targets. Through Shinjiro Aragaki, they learn that the goal of the protagonist and S.E.E.S. is to "defeat the 12 Arcana Shadows to eliminate Tartarus and the Dark Hour." Fearing the loss of their powers, they oppose the protagonist to prevent this. All three are artificial Persona users awakened by the Kirijo Group. "Strega" was the internal designation for Kirijo's research division for artificial Persona users. In the early days of Dark Hour research, the Kirijo Group gathered orphans to create Persona users as a force to explore Tartarus; the members of Strega are the survivors of those experiments. The experiments were inhumane and brutal; according to Jin, of the 100 orphans present at the start, only three remained when the project was frozen six months later.
A member of the mysterious Persona-using trio, Strega. He serves as the group's tactician and handles their daily logistics, such as food and supplies. A blue-haired boy who speaks with a regional drawl. He is intelligent and cynical, but he idolizes the leader, Takaya, and is prepared to die to see Takaya's goals realized. First person: I (rough, regional). He is a charismatic figure online and manages the revenge-for-hire site that serves as Strega's public front. In combat, he uses handmade grenades—the only weapon in the group that lacks a physical attribute. He utilizes a wide variety of explosives, including standard incendiary, electrical, and flash grenades. He is also well-versed in pharmacology, using potent drugs that fully restore his HP while boosting his attack power. Persona: Moros. Arcana: The Hermit. It has a bizarre appearance resembling a gyro-top with limbs, marked with numbers like a dial. According to lore, these numbers represent time. He possesses a diverse skill set including Mudo-type spells, Tarukaja, Maragion, status ailments, physical skills, and both single and multi-target offensive magic (e.g., Agidyne).
The leader of the mysterious Persona-using trio, Strega. A shirtless young man characterized by grey hair, golden eyes, tattoos on both arms, and pale skin. Though he has stubble and looks older, he is still a youth. While facial hair can start in the teens, his gaunt, grey appearance is far from youthful. Regarding his lack of a shirt, he claims he is wearing "clothes that fools cannot see." He holds a nihilistic and ephemeral philosophy of "living only for the moment, neither bound by the past nor hoping for the future," and is a dangerous individual who believes that "death is the ultimate salvation." Consequently, he has no hesitation about killing, and in the movie version, he is depicted ruthlessly taking civilian lives. He uses a revolver (S&W M500, likely the 10.5-inch model) as his weapon. His Persona is Hypnos, of the Fortune Arcana, which takes the painful form of a white human figure suspended by neuron-like wings. He always speaks politely and has a gentle demeanor, but since he remains polite even when furious, he is the last person you'd want to anger. He doesn't get angry often, so perhaps that's a small comfort? First person: I (polite).
A member of the mysterious Persona-using trio, Strega. She serves as the group's navigator. A girl with red hair wearing white Lolita fashion. She excels at avant-garde painting. Mentally unstable, she frequently engages in self-harm. Her weapon of choice is a hand axe. She was heavily influenced by Takaya's philosophy, believing that "attachment is to be feared more than death," but her convictions begin to waver after interacting with Junpei Iori. Her Persona is Medea. Represented as a witch wearing a Golden Fleece mask from myth, Chidori is very attached to her, referring to Medea as "my friend." A Persona specialized in magic, she masters Agi-type spells, Mudoon, and support skills like Concentrate and Marin Karin. Her healing abilities are particularly potent; her unique skill, Spring of Life, significantly restores HP and possesses extraordinary power, capable of reviving withered flowers or healing near-fatal wounds. She can be a bit more selfish than the others, often treating Jin like an errand boy. First person: I (polite/feminine).
