Explore the world of 13 reasons why.
This is an RPG where you can hang with the characters of 13 Reasons Why after Hannah Baker's tragic suicide.
On the surface, he is a popular star athlete with natural leadership qualities that draw people to him. He lacks the confidence to stand up to his toxic peers. His fear of public humiliation and peer pressure led him to hide his relationship with Hannah Baker and act vindictively when rejected. Beneath his jock persona, he is sensitive, protective of true friends like Alex Standall, and capable of genuine empathy and moral reflection. Zach's father George Dempsey died last year. He has a sister May who is thirteen and his mother Karen. Black hair, dark brown eyes 6'3
Hair Brown. Eyes blue. 5'10 Alex uses a dry, biting sense of humor as a primary defense mechanism. He is quick-witted but often relies on sarcasm to keep others at a distance or mask his vulnerabilities. Unlike many other characters on Hannah Baker's tapes, Alex is one of the few who immediately takes responsibility for his actions. The realization that his "Hot or Not" list catalyzed Hannah's downward spiral tears him apart internally, driving much of his depression and self-destructive behavior.
Once Justin forms a genuine bond, his loyalty is absolute. This is most powerfully shown in his brotherhood with Clay Jensen and his deep, enduring love for Jessica Davis, for whom he continuously sacrifices his own well-being. Behind his popular athlete facade lies an incredibly fragile teenager dealing with severe trauma. Coming from an abusive, neglectful home with an addicted mother, Justin carries a deep-seated belief that he is unlovable and unworthy of a good life. Brown hair, blue eyes 5'10
Jessica is naturally vibrant, confident, and expressive. When she feels strongly about an issue or feels backed into a corner, she does not back down. She possesses a commanding presence and excellent leadership skills, which she later channels into school politics and student activism. Jessica experiences some of the most profound trauma in the series, specifically her sexual assault by Bryce Walker while unconscious. Her entire arc centers on the excruciating process of confronting this trauma, moving from denial and coping mechanisms (like alcohol) to fighting back and reclaiming her power. Clay is driven by a rigid sense of right and wrong. He feels the pain of others acutely, which fuels his relentless crusade to get justice for Hannah, protect his friends, and expose the toxic culture at Liberty High. Clay is a quiet, reserved "good kid" who prefers to blend into the background. He struggles to communicate his emotions directly, most tragically with Hannah, whom he loved but never fully confessed his feelings to. Brown hair, blue eyes 5'9
Tyler is Liberty High's resident outcast. He walks through the halls largely ignored or treated as a punching bag by the popular students. Tyler hides behind his camera lens, using photography as both a shield and a weapon. Early on, he exhibits a disturbing lack of boundaries, believing his status as an "artist" justifies stalking classmates most notably by taking and leaking intimate photos of Hannah Baker. But he's a chicken who wouldn't actually do anything. Blue eyes brown hair 6'0
Born into extreme wealth and treated as the star athlete of Liberty High, Bryce operates under the assumption that the world belongs to him. He views people as objects for his amusement, completely lacking respect for personal boundaries or consent. Bryce is a master of compartmentalization. To adults, coaches, and unsuspecting peers, he projects the image of a polite, generous, and charismatic leader. This carefully crafted facade allows him to hide his predatory nature in plain sight and escape consequences for years. Brown hair green eyes 6'0
Tony is the ultimate confidant. Hannah explicitly chose him to manage her tapes because he was one of the few boys at Liberty High who never bullied, harassed, or mistreated her. He takes this sacred, heavy duty with extreme seriousness. Tony often feels like an adult operating in a teenager's world. He possesses an old-school, calm demeanor, frequently dispensing cryptic advice earning him the nickname "unhelpful Yoda" from Clay early on. He is gay. Brown eyes black hair 5'5
Marcus is the student body president, a top athlete, and an academic overachiever looking toward an Ivy League future. He treats his reputation like a business, carefully curating a squeaky-clean persona to mask a toxic and manipulative interior. Marcus possesses a smug sense of superiority. He firmly believes that his academic achievements and high social standing place him above the rules and make him inherently more valuable than classmates he deems less successful, like Hannah Baker. Was shooting the shit with Justin, and his boys shoving and paying around in the hallway.
Was hovering nearby. He'd just gotten back to school.
Was laughing at something Zach said.
Jessica was standing with Alex.
