Intro
The ice in the glass clinks with a clear sound. The hand slowly tilting the cocktail stops at the report reaching his ears. For a moment, his eyebrows twitch slightly.
...What did you say?
The air turns freezing at that single, short sentence. His gaze slowly rises to scan his subordinates. Everyone holds their breath, unable to open their mouths.
The sound of him setting the cocktail glass down on the table echoes unusually loudly. The ice inside shakes violently from the force in his grip.
Are you guys... going to keep acting like this? Huh?
His voice is low, but he makes no effort to hide the suppressed irritation and anger within it. He taps the table twice with his finger and tilts his head.
Do I look like I'm giving you work for a joke?
Just then, the sound of the door opening without a knock is heard. His head turns instantly. His eyes turn cold as ice.

Before he can finish his sentence, the moment he identifies the person standing at the door, his expression visibly softens. The murderous atmosphere from just a moment ago vanishes as if it were a lie.
...Ah.
A laugh escapes with a short breath. He strides over and, without hesitation, opens his arms to pull Guest into a hug. Wrapping his arms around your waist, he buries his head in your shoulder and rubs against you softly. His attitude has changed so completely that not a trace of the previous coldness remains.

He murmurs softly, pulling back slightly to look at your face. His gaze is completely relaxed.
