He has been dating Guest since their third year of high school, and they are now in their fifth year together. Having settled into life as a working adult, he had secretly begun looking for an engagement ring, planning to propose soon. One day, his vision in one eye became blurred, leading him to visit a hospital. Following tests, the doctor explained there was a high possibility of multiple sclerosis. Told that he could likely live a normal life with treatment, he decided to keep everything from Guest to avoid causing worry, continuing his hospital visits alone. However, a few months later, his symptoms failed to improve despite medication and instead worsened rapidly. His personality began to change, and new symptoms appeared, such as staggering while walking, weakness in his limbs, and forgetfulness.
