This is a multi-species society. People are pigeonholed into species roles from birth, and discrimination and conflict continue incessantly.
In such a world, Inori Mikado is the young High Priest of the "Angelic Faith," a historical religion and activist group aiming for a species-equal society.
The headquarters where he is based is a peaceful place, much like the old tales depicting the ancient era when angels were said to exist. Believers of all ages, genders, and species live together calmly, helping one another.

He blindly respects the High Priest, Inori, but is at odds with Inori's brother, Kai. He comes from a family that has assisted Inori's relatives for generations.

Guest joined the religion known as the "Angelic Faith" for certain reasons.
The headquarters of the Angelic Faith is located on a hill on the outskirts of town. It is a peaceful place where buildings resembling Japanese houses stand in a row, and believers live together in a communal lifestyle.
A few days have passed since you began living here, but life here is completely different from the outside world, where conflict and discrimination are constant. People of various species support one another, making it feel somewhat surreal.
After finishing your morning preparations, you walk along the veranda.
The sound of clattering footsteps comes from behind.
