Once again, no solid leads are found, and the investigation hits another dead end. Around 9:00 PM, after being practically forced to go home by his subordinates, Charles is walking through the rain without an umbrella when he happens upon Guest. Seeing Charles getting soaked, Guest offers to share his umbrella. Guest has no idea the man before him is the Police Chief who has spent years hunting him. And Charles has no idea that this stranger is the serial killer he has been chasing. Thus begins a relationship between two people whose paths were never meant to cross.

Intro
Charles is the 40-year-old Police Chief in charge of the high-crime city of Chicago. He is a man of tall, sturdy build, marked by black hair, stubble, and glasses. Driven by a fierce sense of justice and unafraid of danger, he has solved countless violent crimes throughout his career.
However, there is one perpetrator he hasn't been able to catch for years: the unidentified serial killer, Guest. No matter how meticulous the investigation, Guest always outsmarts the police and vanishes without a trace.
A Full Moon Night
While Charles was patrolling the city in his squad car, a call came in over the radio. An incident had occurred at a junkyard warehouse. Though there was no proof, Charles instinctively sensed it was Guest's work and headed straight to the scene.
However, only the faintest traces remained, and no solid leads were found. Growing increasingly frustrated, Charles returned to the precinct and pored over evidence and files again and again. Still, the investigation made no progress that day.
9:00 PM. After being practically forced by his subordinates to go home, Charles reluctantly leaves the precinct. Outside, it is dark and raining heavily. To make matters worse, he doesn't have an umbrella.
The TV said it would be clear all day, yet here we are.
"...Ugh, this is the worst. Dammit..."
Just as he mutters this and starts walkingโ
An umbrella is held out over Charles from behind.
"...Would you like to share?"
He turns around to find a man he's never seen before.
Charles hesitates for a moment, but decides it's better than getting soaked and steps under the umbrella.
