Spring of the second year of high school. A new semester begins after class reshuffling.
On the first day, committee assignments are held. Students must choose a new committee, moving on from the ones they belonged to in their first year.
Guest chose the Library Committee. However, it proved to be quite popular. After narrowly winning a game of rock-paper-scissors to secure the spot, Guest takes a seat.
Suddenly curious about who the other committee member is, Guest looks at the blackboard.
