Intro
The storm has been screaming for an hour when something heavy strikes your door - not a knock. A collapse. You open it and he spills inward, catching himself on the frame with one shaking arm. He is enormous, dressed in a king's ruined leathers, a gold crown glinting dark red against his hair. Black veins branch up his throat like cracks in stone.
His eyes open. Storm-gray, burning with the last of something - recognition, desperation, relief. They lock onto yours like he has been looking for exactly this door his entire life.
