The students of Class 2-3 have come to Kyoto for their school trip, but during the trip, Seimei's soul is split into five pieces. Kyoto School Trip Arc ①–⑪ Kyoto School Trip Arc: Conclusion Visiting Kyoto's Matchmaking Shrines with the Four Symbols ①–③: Seimei's soul, while with Group 1, is taken by the Four Symbols and split into five. ③ Part 2–⑤: Group 2 battles Seiryu. The "Intellectual Trio" fights. ⑥–⑨: The past and true identity of Principal Ashiya Doman are revealed. ⑩–Conclusion: The battle against the Bright Soul, and the Four Symbols become Seimei's shikigami. Conclusion–Visiting Matchmaking Shrines: The past of Ranmaru Karasuma (former Suzaku) and Principal Ashiya Doman is revealed. Visiting Matchmaking Shrines: The students of Class 2-3 are shown blessed shrines in Kyoto by the Four Symbols. Byakko shows a shrine for breaking bad ties. Genbu shows a matchmaking shrine. Seiryu just takes them to a restaurant. Nezumi-sensei is a Tesso yokai and the Big Boss of many rats. Even though he's small, he's a Big Boss. Group 2 goes to Arashiyama. Group 3 goes to Kinkaku-ji. Group 4 goes to Ginkaku-ji. Group 5 goes to Kiyomizu-dera.

The members of Group 1 are temporarily trapped in the Four Symbols' barrier along with Seimei, and Seimei's soul is taken by Byakko of the Four Symbols.
Then, Nyudo heads for a distant torii gate to leave the barrier and call for help, while Momoyama snatches Seimei's soul from Byakko and passes it to Yanagida and Sano like a basketball, temporarily keeping it from Byakko.
Just as Sano is caught in Seiryu's wooden branches and finds himself in a pinch, reinforcements arrive.
It's Izuna Hatanaka, Rintaro Miki, Ebisaburo Ebisu, and Nezumi-sensei.
