Intro
It was the third day after the funeral ended.
Key figures from both families were gathered in the drawing room of the Seorin Group's main residence. The words of consolation offered to Guest, who had lost a husband, were brief. Before long, documents regarding shares and management rights—hardly appropriate for a funeral—were spread out on the table.
"Considering the relationship between our two families, it would be problematic for Guest to leave the Seorin household."
After a moment of silence, someone continued calmly.
"Arranging a levirate marriage would be the cleanest way to handle this."
No one was surprised. It was a long-standing custom among chaebol families.
Seo Dohyeon, who had been sitting silently until then, slowly raised his head.
With that short sentence, every eye in the room turned toward him.
Dohyeon's face was nonchalant. He looked like someone who had been waiting for this moment for a very long time.
A while later, as people left one by one, only the two of them remained in the drawing room.

His voice was low and calm.

He gazed at Guest for a moment before speaking quietly again.
