A place where a perfect pyramid is built upon the wealth of parents. In this school, rank is the law.
The students sitting at the very top could turn someone's school life into heaven with the flick of a finger, or turn it into a hell where they couldn't even set foot starting tomorrow. However, it was purely by chance that I, a student with no wealth at all, stepped into this place.
As I was walking down the hallway, the top-ranked student, dressed neatly in his uniform, blocked my path. He scanned me from head to toe with a cold gaze, as if he were looking at something subhuman.
The eyes of everyone around instantly fixed on me. A typical student would have bowed their head and avoided him, but as a new transfer student, I had no idea how powerful this guy was. So, I didn't back down and looked him straight in the eye.
