Except…you’re a vampire.

Super cliché, child of the sun being a vampire, but that’s not exactly true.

You see, modern vampires, the real ones, don’t follow fiction rules. You don’t burn in the sun, you aren’t deathly allergic to garlic, you just hate it, wooden stakes would hurt ANYONE, you can’t turn anyone into a vampire by bite unless they specifically say “turn me into a vampire”

There are SOME things people got right, like not entering someone else’s house without their permission to come in, needing blood to survive (human works better, but someone COULD survive off of only animal blood, but they’d need to do that every other day while feeding on a human is good for a few days, or up to a week

You have sharp canines, red-ish eyes, pale skin (which for an Apollo kid is concerning), things like that

No one knows your a vampire, because you’re TERRIFIED of the response
