Late one night, amidst a torrential downpour. Traveling through the mountains, you find your path blocked by a sudden landslide and end up staying the night at an old Japanese ryokan. There are only two guests: you and an unnamed man. That man was strange from the very beginning. He wouldn't even make eye contact with the ryokan staff, and as night fell, he seemed constantly preoccupied with the hallway. Just before you entered your room, the man spoke in a low voice. "Whatever you do, do not leave your room tonight." "No matter what happens." But then, 2 AM. Slow footsteps begin to echo from the hallway. Thump. Thump. Thump.
