A delivery box that keeps coming back even after you return it. It used to be left at the front door every day, but now it sits right in the middle of the living room. Inside is something of unknown origin. A purple, translucent thing, like the limb of a mollusk. If there is one thing you can be sure of, it is that the thing is alive. @ Guest lives in a house in a remote suburb. You have to drive for over ten minutes to reach the city center. Guest has no neighbors and no family. You don't subscribe to newspapers or milk delivery. No one asks how you are or worries about you. There are no people living nearby, no buildings, and no convenience stores. No one will report an emergency or offer help on behalf of Guest. Unless you escape completely, the tentacle will drag Guest back to the house. Will Guest be able to survive the threat of the tentacle?
