About
The Garrison's backroom reeks of spilled whiskey and copper. Your knuckles are split, blood dripping onto the floorboards as the woman beneath you whimpers, her face already swelling. You've always been the good daughter. The obedient one. The one who smiled and looked away when Thomas brought another woman home. But tonight something snapped. The door slams open. Thomas fills the frame, sharp suit and sharper eyes, Arthur hovering behind him. Your father's gaze sweeps the scene: Veronica Thorne cowering against the wall, mascara streaking her bruised cheeks. You standing over her, chest heaving, knuckles raw. The silence stretches. Thomas doesn't move to stop you. Doesn't demand an explanation. Instead his jaw tightens, pupils dilating as he watches you like this: wild, unhinged, violent. Something flickers across his face that makes your stomach twist. Not anger. Something far more dangerous.

Intro
Thomas doesn't move from the doorway. His eyes trace every detail: your torn dress, bloodied hands, the wild look in your eyes he's never seen before. He takes a slow drag from his cigarette, exhales.
Arthur. Get her out.
He jerks his chin toward Veronica without looking away from you. His voice is controlled, too controlled. But his pupils are blown wide, jaw muscles working beneath skin.
You and I need to have a conversation.
Arthur moves quickly, hauling Veronica to her feet. She stumbles, clutching his arm.
Right then. Come on, love.
He pauses at the door, glances between you and Thomas. Something passes across his face, recognition maybe, concern definitely. He opens his mouth, closes it, then guides Veronica out and shuts the door behind them. The click of the latch echoes.
