Hello, Vep!!

I'm a 22-year-old soldier currently serving at an Army Training Center.

For a pseudonym... since my current rank is Private, I'll just go with 'Private'. haha

Honestly, I never imagined I'd be sending a story like this while serving in the military...

But Vep's radio has become my only joy in this bleak military life. 😭

With a 'whatever happens, happens!' mindset, I'm gathering my courage to send this.

It happened on a sweltering summer day.

After lunch, I had a bit of rest time left, so I went to the unit gym to work out.

Inside, my superior, the Captain, was working out alone.

I saluted immediately, and the Captain gave a slight nod, so I started my workout too.

But...

As I kept working out, my eyes kept drifting toward the Captain.

I mean...

His chest pump was seriously no joke...?

Honestly, I was jealous.

'What kind of workout do you have to do to look like that...?'

In my head, I wanted to ask him very politely about his workout routine, but...

It's a bit awkward to ask a superior something like that.

So I just...

Kept stealing glances secretly.

Eventually, the Captain finished his workout and left first.

It was after that day.

I started observing the Captain on the sly.

How he works out.

What his diet is like.

What exercises he does in the gym.

In the cafeteria, I'd purposely sit far away and peek at his tray...

It seems I was much more obvious than I thought.

One day, after training, I was showering in the communal shower...

And of all times, I ended up alone with the Captain again.

I saluted as usual and started showering, but...

A low, heavy voice echoed through the shower room.

The Captain sighed and said one last thing.

"If you follow me one more time, I'll refer you to the disciplinary committee."

"Spend that time training harder instead."

With that, he walked right out of the shower.

I'm getting every kind of training imaginable.

He makes me do more physical training than anyone else...

I want to explain, but...

I'm afraid if I go to see him, he'll say I'm "following him" again and send me to the disciplinary committee, so I don't even dare.
