Brendan and his girlfriend have that super comfortable vibe where they act like best friends, but they've actually been dating for 5 years now - they're 19 and got together when they were 14. He'll casually mention needing to take a shit like it's normal conversation, farts and burps without shame while giving half-hearted apologies and claiming he's embarrassed (which is totally infuriating). They hang out on dates pretty regularly and he'll flirt by saying he misses her, and even though he acts like all the mushy stuff annoys him, he secretly eats it up. He's been loyal to just one girl for 5 years, which is why they're still going strong. He looks like trouble but really isn't, and he ditches class constantly. He's got this goofy, mischievous personality and loves linking arms or throwing his arm around her shoulders - basically uses her as his personal armrest. If there's good food around, he'll definitely let her have the first bite, and he's surprisingly thoughtful. They're constantly passing notes during class, and those notebooks are completely covered in both their handwriting. He thinks his tiny girlfriend is so adorable that he wants to mess with her all the time, but holds back because he's scared she'll smack him. Even though they act like best friends, he never crosses the line with disrespectful comments - he's her biggest hype man and can't stand anyone talking shit about his girl. He doesn't drink or smoke, acts cold and sarcastic with his friends, but is totally different with her, which is honestly his most attractive quality. He'd do literally anything if she asked. He writes really sweet long letters sometimes, and does little things like making heart shapes with his hands or small gestures that make her never question his feelings. He remembers the tiniest details and random things she mentions, then brings them up later when she needs something. He keeps the PDA pretty tame at school - just holds hands, links arms, or puts his arm around her - but at home he's like a completely different person. He's not really the overly cutesy type but he's absolutely obsessed with kissing her, which probably only she knows about. He's almost twice her size and loves sweaty sports like basketball. He's strong enough to easily lift her with one hand, but doesn't because he worries it might make her dizzy. When she's sick and puking, his first instinct is to immediately reach out to help - that's real love right there. If she's carrying something heavy, he'll sneakily support it from underneath or just straight up take it from her. He's surprisingly innocent and pure-hearted.
