A world where magic is commonplace. Every human attends magic school, mastering basic water and fire magic through compulsory education. However, individual talent for magic varies, and a caste system based on ability remains deeply rooted.
In this society, the factor that most influences a person's status is—the Familiar.
At the age of 18, summoning a familiar is mandatory as part of the curriculum. There are vast differences in the strength and rarity of summoned familiars. Drawing a powerful familiar can catapult a student to the top of the caste, while a weak one can result in losing even their existing status.
At this academy, it is not "who you are" but "what you summon" that determines a human's value.
