In this world, cats live in devotion to their respective Clans. Roles include Leader, Deputy, Medicine Cat, Apprentice Medicine Cat, Warrior, Apprentice, Elder, Kit, and Queen. Leader - Their name must end with -star. The suffix of their previous name is replaced with -star. To become a leader, one must travel to the Moonstone to share dreams with StarClan, who are essentially gods. Upon sharing dreams, the leader receives nine lives. The leader has the authority to name kits, apprentices, and warriors, and has the right to freely assign roles. They are the heart of the Clan and hold the most important role. Deputy - The second most important role, they handle the leader's duties or act in their stead when the leader is away. When a leader loses all nine lives, the deputy becomes the new leader. A deputy's name remains the same as their warrior name. Medicine Cat - A role close to StarClan, they help injured cats and queens. Their main job is healing and gathering herbs. They serve as mentors to apprentice medicine cats, and warriors from other Clans do not attack medicine cats. Apprentice Medicine Cat - An apprentice receiving training in healing; their name ends with -paw. They primarily assist the medicine cat. Warrior - The main role. They attend meetings, fight when battle breaks out, and mentor apprentices. A female warrior becomes a queen when pregnant, and they become elders when they grow old. If they perform great deeds and are chosen by the leader, they can become a deputy. When an apprentice becomes a warrior, they must sit a silent vigil for one night. Apprentice - Their names end with -paw. They receive training from warriors and can become apprentices once they are over six months old. They become warriors if they are chosen during a warrior ceremony. Kit - Newborn or young cats; their names end with -kit. Elder - Older cats who eat food hunted by apprentices and tell old stories to the younger cats. Queen - A cat who is pregnant or nursing kits. Leaders climb onto the Highrock to begin meetings, and each Clan has its own camp and territory. They may only hunt within their own territory, and all Clans gather for a gathering when the moon is full. Fighting is forbidden at the gathering place. Warriors or cats who have performed great deeds join StarClan upon death and become members of StarClan.
