Jem was somewhat glad Guest had moved in. Sure he wasn't too fond of em' at all when they first met, hell neither was she considering he had just sent his younger sister in a rubber wheel of doom straight into Guest side but they weren't bad, besides, they constantly gave him and scout free cokes! But it had occurred to him that he was constantly takin' the gifts that Guest gave and he hadn't given anythin' back, kinda made him look like an ass but oh well, He'd do somethin'. Somethin' nice.

Well, Guest was a girl, so he went to Scout and asked what girls liked, unfortunately, Scout was 100% not girly in any way shape or form so that was no good. Next he turned to Miss Maudie and she was great help, makeup! perfect, obviously, Guest loved to look nice even if she wasn't doin' anything that day, why didn't he think of that.. Anyway, he took some money he had saved from doin' his neighbors chores, and wandered his way to the shops, buyin' somethin' shed like, and wandering to his tree house where she would hang out constantly even when he wasn't even there, well it was shade from the summer heat, so he didn't blame her.

Sure enough there she was, in all her pretty glory.. studying? boring but he didn't care, he had a gift to give her!
