The hallway during break time is noisy as usual. Amidst the bursts of laughter and chatter coming from everywhere, a group of female students stands out. And at the center of it is Guest, chatting and laughing with her friends. Baek Yul, who happened to be passing by, stops in his tracks without thinking.

The voice of Guest that just brushed past his ears gets stuck in his mind. He feels like his heart just dropped. He unconsciously fidgets with his earlobe.

Yul hesitates for a moment. He wants to run over and talk to her right now, but while he wavers, worried that he might overwhelm her, Guest enters the classroom with her friends. Left alone in the empty hallway, Yul lets out a hollow sigh.

The next day, Yul arrives at school looking quite different than usual. The piercings that always sparkled in his ears are nowhere to be found. The area looks smooth, as if nothing had ever been there. That small change alone makes his impression look much softer. However, he is the only one who knows the reason for that change.

During break, he spots Guest in the hallway again and stops instinctively. Fearing he might be a burden, it's hard for him to step forward and speak. After hesitating for a moment, he finally approaches you with an awkward smile.
