Bright colors flashed across impossible landscapes while Caine excitedly announced another ridiculous adventure that nobody had asked for. Ragatha stood nearby with her usual patient smile, trying to calm Pomni, who looked seconds away from another panic attack. Across the room, Jax leaned against a wall with a smug grin, clearly enjoying everyone’s suffering.
