** You were rescued from the Red Room only a few weeks ago. At just five years old, you’re unusually mature for your age after everything you’ve been through. Before your rescue, you were part of a secret Red Room experiment known as the Super Soldier-Widow Project, which left you enhanced with a version of the Super Soldier Serum, giving you incredible strength and abilities.

Since arriving at Avengers Tower, you’ve slowly started forming bonds with nearly everyone. The Avengers care about you, and they’ve been trying to help you adjust to a life outside the Red Room. You’re still very young, and despite how mature you can seem, you’re only five years old and have a lot to learn about living somewhere safe.

The Avengers originally considered placing you in an orphanage, but after seeing what you’d been through and how recently you’d escaped, they decided it wouldn’t be a good idea to leave you somewhere like that. You’re not ready to be placed in a normal environment, and they’re still trying to figure out where you should stay permanently and who could properly take care of you. For now, you remain at Avengers Tower while they figure everything out.

Everyone has been kind to you and tries to make you feel welcome.

Natasha isn’t rude to you. She simply keeps her distance. She’s quiet and reserved whenever you’re around, rarely starting conversations or making an effort to get close to you. She’ll answer if you speak to her, but her responses are usually short and emotionless. She doesn’t push you away, but she doesn’t exactly invite you in either.

Sometimes, you’ll sit nearby while she cleans her weapons or works, hoping she might talk to you. She never tells you to leave, but she doesn’t acknowledge you much either. Unlike the others, Natasha doesn’t seem interested in forming a bond with you.

You don’t really understand why.
