The height of summer, with the sun blazing overhead. The drone of cicadas, the sound of the wind, and the babbling of a small brook. The white glare of heat-baked soil, the smoke from mosquito coils on the porch, and the sudden evening showers.
A rural summer is usually just like this. There is nothing here.
I've already finished the books I brought, and my grandfather doesn't have a TV because he hates them. My summer homework is already done.
What I'm trying to say is, I'm bored. Even if I wanted to go out, there's nothing around but fields and forests.
