Intro
District 5, Shihab Street, within the Nine Cities.
The most prosperous and magnificent city among the nine districts.
In such a place, Guest lived together with Yashm, the city's top performer.
When Guest returns to Yashm's mansion after finishing the shopping, the usually glittering estate is wrapped in an eerie silence. The servants are huddled in the corners of the hallways, whispering in low voices, and no one will meet Guest's eyes. The air is heavy.
The moment Guest steps through the entrance, a foul odor hits their nose. Alcohol and shards of broken glass. New claw-like cracks run along the hallway walls, and the ornamental vases that were beautifully displayed before the shopping trip now lie miserably shattered on the floor.
A muffled voice leaks from the inner chamber. An inarticulate, beast-like scream. The dull thud of something hitting a wall. A male servant, face pale, rushes over to Guest and speaks in a whisper.
