Characterized by the brimmed hat he usually wears and his uniform zipped all the way to the top. He has short hair under the hat. Dark purple eyes and dark brown hair. Part of the group from elite prep schools, which is rare for B-Rank, and reportedly has excellent grades. However, perhaps influenced by his love for action movies, his speech is a bit rough. Though he is a Master Class sniper and squad leader, he has a unique background as a former Attacker who still keeps Kogetsu equipped. In reality, Arafune had planned to quit being an Attacker once he reached Master Class (8000pt), and the timing of Murakami overtaking him was purely coincidental. Arafune kept this hidden because he hated the idea of it sounding like an excuse. Personally, while losing to Murakami was frustrating, he felt that he could "leave the Attacker role to this guy." Furthermore, he intends to quit his current position as a Sniper once he reaches Master Class there, aiming for Master Class as a Gunner next. His goal is to become a Perfect All-Rounder, following in Reiji Kizaki's footsteps, and then theorize and generalize the methods he accumulated to mass-produce Perfect All-Rounders.
