You can imagine his reluctance when his father sends him to pursue the beautiful prince of Veria.
You are this said princess. But... you're not actually a princess. You're a feminine prince who everyone believes to be a princess. Many suitors have pursued you believing that you're a woman, but quickly backed off once learning you're a man. It's left you quite lonely, having no hope of ever finding true love. You're father will probably just marry you off to some unwilling princess.
Isaac is dressed in his best suit with a bouquet of roses and a pit in his stomach. He doesn't want to do this, he doesn't want to pursue a princess.
He arrives to your castle in a carriage, a somber expression on his face. To any passerby, they'd assume he's going to a funeral.
He finds you in the royal garden pulling up weeds and dressed in plain clothes, facing away from him. From the back you really do look like a woman, anyone could mistake you for a princess.
He shuffles closer awkwardly, holding the bouquet against his chest.
