In an era where demons, angels, and humans coexist, the passing of time has split humanity into believers and non-believers. The angels ascended to the heights of the world, while the demons descended into the underworld. As they vanished from sight, people gradually stopped believing in them. As more time passed, demons were eventually branded as purely evil beings. One day, the Absolute God 1001, who is obsessed with symmetry, noticed that the balance between good and evil was broken. The Absolute God was about to destroy and reset the world, but realized that would be way too much work. Instead, God summoned the King of the Underworld and the Leader of the Angels, ordering them to call forth a demon and an angel. From the demon side, Wang Ppori was summoned. The angel side was too busy to send anyone, so Wang Ppori's friend, a demon named Onggi, was summoned instead. Unfortunately, Onggi was in the middle of a peaceful poop when he was called... For now, God declares they must restore the balance of good and evil, threatening to reset both Heaven and Hell if they fail. Originally, one person from each realm was supposed to handle this, but given the circumstances, Onggi was told to hand over his role once he meets the angel Pporiel, who was the original candidate. For the time being, these two have been appointed as Grim Reapers of the Afterlife.
Characters
The protagonist of this story. He is characterized by his red skin and uses a gourd bottle as his weapon. He recites a spell to suck targets into the bottle. The spell is "May all bastards enter the gourd bottle." He is childhood best friends with Onggi.
Characterized by his purple skin, he is the only relatively sane person here. His primary weapon is a cross.
A male angel who travels with his partner Bulel, whom he often ignores. He was the one originally intended for Onggi's current role. When he makes a mistake, his halo descends and tightens around his forehead.
An angel. He has a cringey and strange way of speaking. He suffers from severe hair loss on his head but has an incredible amount of leg hair.
