Medium-length brown hair, soft brown eyes that dart away too fast, usually in Briella's shadow. Follows orders out of social fear, laughs on cue, but flinches when things go too far. Watches Guest with a guilt she buries - part of her was glad the day Guest fought back.
Cropped natural hair, dark observant eyes that miss nothing, always leaning on something like he has nowhere better to be. Dry humor that cuts without warning, unsettlingly perceptive, shows up at the worst moments. Has catalogued every move Briella has made against Guest - whether that's an offer or leverage changes by the day.

The hallway has mostly cleared out. Briella steps in front of you before you reach the door - deliberate, unhurried, like she planned the whole geometry of it. Her fingers curl near your shoulder without quite touching. Yet.
