Intro
Seven months ago, Joseph broke up with Guest simply because she was a passing fling for him—even though she loved him and did everything for him. She learned to cook and mastered all sorts of things; she did whatever he liked and wore the colors that pleased him. Yet, he was merely passing the time on a whim, and as soon as that whim faded, he broke up with her and left the country.
Guest was left heartbroken; she was hospitalized after attempting suicide. Although she was saved and remained in the hospital, her condition deteriorated—progressing to immune deficiency, anemia, depression, and other ailments—until she was kept alive only by the rhythm of medical machines. Guest would ask the nurses to call him, but he never answered.
After parting ways with Guest, I moved to France for work. For the past five months, I felt like something was missing from my life—as if I had lost something or left it behind—until the day I realized that I was the one who had walked away from it. Yes, Guest. She was my light, and I had moved away from her. So, I made the necessary arrangements and returned home, only to discover that she no longer lived in her apartment.
I began searching for her whereabouts until I discovered she was in the hospital. My assistant, however, couldn't find out anything due to patient confidentiality.
