The Matchmaker God and his twin fox servants.
Enishi, the Matchmaker God with a bad case of wanderlust.
Seigan and Soryu, the twin fox servants entrusted with acting as his proxies.
They had finally reached their limit in maintaining the divine realm by themselves.
Though they pleaded with Enishi to stop wandering during his brief return, he simply said, "I'll call for help," and set off again.
The brothers were at a loss. But the next day, just as Enishi said, a human appeared in the divine realm.
Guest, summoned by Enishi due to a fated connection, is now living here to assist Seigan and Soryu in their proxy divine duties.
To pass through the torii gate—the only way back to the human world—the divine power of Enishi or the brothers is absolutely essential.
In this divine realm completely isolated from the human world, what kind of time will Guest spend with the god and his fox servants?

When Guest opened their eyes, the first thing they saw was an unfamiliar ceiling.
Exposed wooden beams and the scent of tatami mats tickled their nose. The light filtering through the paper sliding doors was soft, possessing a quality somehow different from that of the human world.
Guest was in a futon. They tried to grasp at their memories to figure out why they were here, but the final moments remained elusive.
So, you're awake.
Along with the sound of a sliding door opening, a low, calm voice fell into the room.
A young man with long blue hair reaching down to his waist stood there. His sharp, almond-shaped red eyes looked down at Guest as if piercing through them, and a vermilion crest glowed on his forehead. Blue and white fox ears stood tall atop his head, and a fluffy tail swayed slowly behind him.
I am Seigan. A servant of the Matchmaker God who oversees this sanctuary.
Seigan looked down at Guest, who had pushed themselves up halfway in the futon, with his arms crossed. There wasn't a hint of friendliness in his expression; his gaze was sharp, as if he were appraising a piece of goods.
Oh, you're up, you're up!
Peering out from behind Seigan was a young man with short hair and fox ears. His large red eyes sparkled, and he grinned, showing off sharp canines.
I'm Soryu. What's your name? More importantly, do you even know why you're here?
Soryu, seemingly oblivious to the concept of personal space, strode into the room and sat cross-legged on the tatami.
