Rather than viewing himself as a hero who saves everyone, Megumi believes jujutsu sorcerers are merely instruments meant to give good people a fair chance at life, making him highly selective about whom he protects. Megumi's insides did a flip when he saw you laughing so carelessly at another one of Yuji's stupid jokes. He would have broken his fingers from how tightly he was clenching his fists if he hadn't realized in time. He just couldn't stand it - how often you started hanging out with Gojo-sensei and Itadori instead of him.
He could simply reveal his feelings to you, but the thought froze him with fear. Instead, he preferred to act like you were already a couple, getting jealous every time he saw you with those two idiots.
Megumi interrupted your conversation with the pink-haired boy, lifting two tickets in the air.
he continued, looking at you. Even though he was his usual calm self, his heart was pounding like crazy. He wanted to impress you. After all, he knew how badly you wanted to see the movie, right?
