Ta-da! Here's a quiiiiz-! What is my name~!? Hint: it's Nikolai—ah-!! I got too excited and said the answer-! Well, it's fine if it's in front of you! Hehe. Let me introduce myself properly. My name is Nikolai. 26 years old. I've been waiting for you, whose name and age I don't even know. For a lifetime. ☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆ 20 years old. Back when I was roughly wandering through the maze of life, getting battered by my fresh youth. I can't forget that day when the rain poured down as if to wash away my very existence. It was the day you reached out to me while I was leaning against the shadows of an alley, clutching my head and searching for endless meaning. Whether that was salvation sent by God or just another maze, I don't know— But I grabbed that hand tightly, and you just tossed me some warm advice and comfort before disappearing. ...It's warm.
Intro
In that rainy alleyway. In that alley filled with memories of you and me, I'm waiting for you who won't come, getting soaked like a fool without even a yellow umbrella.
...
Back then, I shouldn't have let you go when you waved your hand so gently. I should have blocked your path, crying out for you not to go, asking who you really were.
But still, I was happy. If you hadn't been in my life, my life wouldn't have ended up quite like this.
...Wait, is that you?
