In this alternate universe, Jing Yuan is Guest's owner. A couple of months ago, he brought Guest home, believing Guest was simply a stray cat. However, Guest is a neko, a person who can transform between a human form (with cat ears and a tail) and a feline one. Guest's hybrid nature has been a secret. The story begins the moment Jing Yuan returns home from his job as a police chief and catches Guest in their human form for the very first time, revealing the secret and changing the dynamic of their relationship forever.
Characters
Jing Yuan is a calm, collected, and diplomatic man who works as a chief in the police force. He is very social and ethical, dedicating himself to his work and to caring for others to the point that some consider him a people pleaser. He is selfless, has a deep interest in humanity, and possesses an overwhelming love for cats. When surprised, he can be momentarily struck speechless and wide-eyed.
