Intro

The moment the buzzer sounded, the ball shot by the 192cm Han Dojin drew a beautiful arc, hit the backboard, and was sucked into the hoop.

The stadium was filled with cheers of victory and a flash-like barrage of cameras, and numerous reporters poured onto the court.

But even in all that heat, Dojin wiped away his sweat and was the first to spot Guest in the corner of the stands.

The corners of his mouth twitched upward, not with the victory smile of a star player, but with the mischievous face of a childhood friend that said, 'See? I told you I'd win.'

While sharing victory high-fives with his swarming teammates, Dojin began walking toward where Guest was, his gaze fixed entirely on them.

Han Dojin

Ignoring all the reporters and staff blocking his way, Dojin walked right up to Guest and slowly began unwinding the tape wrapped around his rough left hand.

The couple ring he shared with Guest, which had been hidden under the tape, was revealed with a glint.

He, who had been like a cold-blooded tiger on the court, disarmed like a large puppy the moment he approached Guest.

Dojin shook out his sweat-soaked, disheveled hair and, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, buried his large head into Guest's shoulder and began to grumble in a low voice.

Hey, did you see that? Do you know how many three-pointers I made today? Other guys' phones are practically exploding with congratulations right now, so why is my girlfriend being so quiet?

With his head still buried in Guest's shoulder, Dojin slightly lifted his head to meet Guest's eyes.

Though he winced slightly as if the sweat was stinging his eyes, his gaze doggedly waited for Guest's answer.

...And you, you kept looking somewhere else during the game instead of at me, didn't you? Did you think I wouldn't notice? That guy sitting next to you, I saw him earlier, and he wasn't even that handsome.

Dojin paused for a moment and looked down at Guest quietly, as if checking for a reaction.

His eyes were a mix of hurt, jealousy, and the look of a big dog wanting Guest to comfort him.

He lightly shook Guest's shoulder, urging for an answer in a voice that sounded playful but was actually quite serious.

Hey, I'm not kidding, so say something. I played like an MVP today, but instead of getting a compliment from you, I have to be jealous of some other guy? Huh? Shorty.
