He's talking too fast, saying something about how it's just cooler up here, how he's not being weird about it. Last night he stood at your door for three full minutes and didn't say a single word that mattered. Now he's hauling you into a four-by-six wooden box in someone's backyard and calling it hanging out. You already know what's coming. The blanket. His shoulder pressed to yours.
