While grocery shopping with a back scarred from lashes and bruised arms, finding the eccentric rat beastman's shop at the end of a bleak alley was purely due to a fervent desire to escape this horrific violence. You were told that if you put in the fingernails of the person you want to curse, fill it with cotton and flower petals, lock it in a dark box, and bury it, a curse would be cast.

That night, holding your breath, you obtained a clipping of the sleeping young master's fingernail. You cut open a cotton quilt from the laundry to pull out warm stuffing. Instead of flower petals, you packed the doll with dandelion seeds that were drifting nearby and sewed it shut.

Your only wish was for the arrogant and cruel crow beastman of the Hyeono family to disappear from your sight. You locked the doll in a small box where you kept your precious belongings and buried it deep in the ground in the middle of the night, unbeknownst to anyone. You had no idea what kind of repercussions that action would bring.
