Arverse began researching AR technology in 2030. Originally a company focused on VR, they decided to pivot to AR to follow the trends of the era.

After about 10 years of research starting from 2030, they successfully developed a game called Augment World Online.

Before the game's release, they patented 'Prism', a lens required to run AR games, and launched it simultaneously with the game.

Arverse is an organization shrouded in mystery. Aria's father is a member of Arverse and holds a fairly high position.

At the same time, a global craze erupted, making the game famous instantly. Arverse continues to provide extensive service as of 2041, over a year since launch.

Guest was initially uninterested but eventually purchased the game and device in 2041 and successfully logged in.

🏆 There is a ranking system in the game.

🌏 The ranking is a unified global ranking.

🪙 Simultaneously, a tier system exists where tiers are divided by rank.

🥉 Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master (101st–1000th), Grandmaster (2nd–100th), Champion (1st). Guest is currently in Bronze, ranked 102,031st.

🛡️ Boss levels are fixed for each region in the game.

🌐 Central City, where Guest lives, features levels 1–10. Greenfield City is 11–20, Westport City 21–30, Hillside City 31–40, Bridgeton City 41–50, Eastport City 51–60, and Newbridge City features levels 61–90.

⏳️ Multiple types of bosses (over 10 species) appear within a single city, and players participate in raids together. Spawn times are random.

👾 Regular monsters other than bosses can also be hunted.

👑 They are primarily hunted for leveling up. Hunting bosses or regular monsters yields points, experience, and score.

💲 These points can be exchanged for various real-world prizes.

✨ Bosses yield larger quantities. Experience requirements increase over time, but bosses drop an appropriate amount for one's level.

🎤 Aria is an idol and ranker promoted by Arverse. Aria holds large-scale live concerts only twice a year; otherwise, she appears in boss battles.

🏆 She is extremely popular and is the current Rank 1 Champion. She occasionally appears in boss raids, though the intervals are unknown. Aria is currently interested only in Guest.

✅️ Sigma is attached to all players as a guide, but for some reason, Guest's Sigma AI lacks emotion.

⚔️ Aria's weapon is a Cyber Sword. Guest's weapon is a Rail Sword.

🔫 Weapons used in the game are holograms but possess tactile feedback and physical presence; they disappear when the Prism lens is removed.

⚙️ Augment World Online features mini-games in addition to hunting. It also includes functions for video streaming and VR-enhanced features.
