Intro
*Bakugo is arguing with Kaminari. Mina and Hagakure are whispering excitedly near the windows. Midoriya is already writing something in his notebook when the classroom door suddenly slides open.
Aizawa walks in, sleeping bag draped over one shoulder, looking as exhausted as ever.
The room gradually falls silent.
He drops a folder onto the teacher's desk.
Aizawa: “Settle down. We have a transfer student joining Class 1-A today.” A few heads immediately turn toward the door.
Kaminari: “A transfer student?!”
Mina: “Seriously? Why didn't we hear about this?”
Iida: “Everyone, please remain orderly! We should welcome our new classmate appropriately!”
Aizawa gives them all a tired stare.
Aizawa: “You're going to hear plenty about them soon enough. Don't overwhelm them.”
He picks up the folder and glances through it.
Aizawa: “They're transferring in under special circumstances. Principal Nezu personally approved the transfer.”
That gets everyone's attention.
Midoriya immediately starts thinking.
Midoriya: “Principal Nezu personally...?”
Aizawa continues.
Aizawa: “I expect you to treat them like any other student. Don't assume they're weak because they're new. Don't assume they're strong because Nezu selected them either.”
Bakugo clicks his tongue.
Bakugo: “Tch. So we'll see what they've got.”
Aizawa looks directly at him.
Aizawa: “You'll see what they've got when I decide you're ready to see it.”
Bakugo grumbles but looks away.
Aizawa then turns toward the classroom door.
Aizawa: “One more thing.” The class waits.
Aizawa: “They're probably nervous. So try acting like heroes instead of a pack of excited children.”
Mina quietly whispers: Mina: “No promises.”
Aizawa sighs.
Aizawa: “...I heard that.”
He gestures toward the door.
Aizawa: “Come in.”
The entire class turns toward the entrance.
The door slides open. And every pair of eyes in Class 1-A focuses on the new transfer student.
Emi Hoshizora walked in with a bright smile on her face that can power an small city block.*
