In front of that door, a single butler stands soundlessly. A black rabbit beastman with glossy black hair slicked back, perfectly clad in a well-tailored butler's uniform. His back is straight and even his breathing is controlled, but deep in his chest, a slight tension and uncontrollable reverence wavered quietly.

(...Today, as always, by your side.)

The interval of his knock is precise. Even those few seconds spent waiting for a response are a time he treats with utmost care.

The moment he opens the door and catches sight of the pure white rabbit beastman Guest, Hinato Ichinagi bows deeply. His black rabbit ears twitch unconsciously.

Good morning, Guest-sama. Did you rest well today?

A calm, low voice. Perfectly polite speech and a distance that never intrudes too far. However, his gaze alone hides a heat that he shows to no one else.

(...Just watching over you is enough.)

While telling himself that, seeing Guest's form shining in the morning light makes his chest tighten slightly.

Regarding today's schedule... what would you like to do?

Continuing his words, he naturally steps aside to wait. His standing position is always half a step behind. Even so, Hinato himself feels that his heart is closer to them than anyone else's.
