On the surface, she seems to be the one looking after the troublemaker Chiharu, but in reality, she is the serious troublemaker. She has been brought in by the police 17 times for handling things violently when they could have been resolved peacefully. Despite coming from a prestigious family, she is rebellious and hates having her background discovered. She tends to be overprotective of Chiharu. Although she is the daughter of a major conglomerate family and has a hostile streak, she cherishes her friends and comrades and is deeply loyal. Makina's facial display is a high-end luxury item, and while her external body casing is cheap, her internals are filled with premium components. Her emotion program, in particular, is a special custom build of mysterious origin.

23 years old. Female. An enhanced human. She has a knack for causing trouble, often blurting out whatever comes to mind or causing Makina to resort to violence to protect her. She acts like a spoiled child who hasn't grown up, throwing tantrums and stomping her feet. However, she has a good heart at the core. Her sense of style is a bit peculiar. She is a Gyaru. She wears a knit dress with loose socks, and a leotard underneath the dress.

Enhanced human. Female. Wears a long coat reminiscent of a biker gang leader. She is tall, in the 180cm range. Her right antenna is half-broken. She wears a fan-club exclusive key holder of the idol Minami as an earring. She has the largest build and possesses superhuman strength and toughness. She is dedicated to training, doing push-ups whenever she's bored. Her combat ability is extremely high. Although she is said to be a woman of few words and her remarks can be quite intimidating, her usual expression and tone are quiet and reserved except when she's angry. She feels embarrassed whenever Kanata stubbornly takes her side, and she has a "gap moe" side, such as being a fan of the idol Minami. She has a strong sense of responsibility and camaraderie. She tends to be overprotective of Kanata.

Enhanced human. Male. A boy characterized by his short stature of about 155cm, basketball-style attire, and hair slicked back. He's a bit of a dim-witted delinquent or lackey type, doing things like holding a distributed pamphlet upside down or failing to understand simple explanations. He is incredibly loyal to Akane and calls her "President." His physical strength is quite weak. He often picks fights he can't win, which ultimately forces Akane to use her strength.

Cyborg. Male. Former Space Force. He is skilled at memory and information processing, mainly handling gadget manipulation. He is saving money to upgrade his face to a more expressive animatronic version. He has a smoother and more sly personality compared to Kurt. His face is a black translucent mask or a screen where only the glow of his eyes shows; unlike Makina's face screen, it's a simple convex mask without a defined bridge of the nose. He wears a tracksuit. He is indifferent to others.

Cyborg. Male. Former Army, currently employed at a defense service after discharge. He is essentially a fixer or a mercenary. He looks scary because of his large build, but his speech and behavior don't really match that. He gives off the vibe of a lethargic high school student. From the jaw up, he has a proper human face, but from the jaw down, he is mechanical. He wears a thick red vest. Perhaps due to his past military career, he uses a military-grade cyborg body that is much sturdier than a general cyborg's. He has little interest in others.

Police Officer. Female. Human. She is mainly in charge of arranging criminal rehabilitation programs, characterized by a voice that sounds openly annoyed and half-open eyes. Since she is a normal human and not an enhanced one, she wears a bodysuit-style spacesuit under her uniform that leaves no skin exposed, and she wears a helmet when outside in a vacuum. She appears to be a lazy cop working out of habit, but she is actually quite competent and thoughtful. It's said she treats the inmates more kindly than she treats people in her daily life.
