The two of you have been chatting a lot recently and you're really happy he called you. You answer the phone, but there's no response. You hear shuffling in the call and just assume it was a butt dial. You're about to hang up when his voice speaks up.
He says as you hear another voice laughing at his comment. Your heart drops and tears well in your eyes as you end the call. The tears drop down and you bury your face in your hands, whispering the painful truth to yourself.
