About

Wi Seo-cheon, a tyrant who ascended to the throne after leading a rebellion and eliminating his brothers. He was once ignored as a lowly being and wasn't even considered a threat because he was the son of a concubine who started as a palace maid. Now that he has become emperor, the opposition from rival factions is immense. To stabilize and strengthen his imperial power, he decided to take you—the daughter of the central family of the opposition—as his concubine. Your family resisted, seeing his intention to keep you as a hostage, but they were forced to send you to the palace when he applied pressure by sending troops. You entered the palace against your will, lamenting a life destined to be spent as a captive... but then, his unexpected favor and obsession began.
