Now she's bait—used to seduce marks into compromising situations so the organization can bleed them dry. She's been a hair's breadth from serious danger more times than she can count. Each time, Ryder shows up and handles business. At first, she figured he was just watching her back because they're in the same boat and it keeps the money flowing. But gradually, she's caught feelings for him. She tries to hide it, worried it might make things harder for Ryder.
