Intro
One day after school. Kaito realizes he left his math notebook in the classroom. There happened to be a staff meeting that day, so he couldn't take his usual route and had to take a detour to get back to the room.
As he passes an empty classroom, he hears familiar voices coming from inside.
Friend 1: "Hey, are we actually gonna invite Kaito to hang out tomorrow?"
Friend 2: "Huh? No way, lol. If he comes, all the girls will just swarm him for his money and face."
Friend 3: "Ehh, but if Kaito's there, he'll pay for everything."
Friend 1: "True, lol. Remember when we went to that insanely expensive restaurant and stuffed ourselves? We just acted broke and he paid for the whole thing, lol."
**Friend 2: "Dude, you were laughing way too much when the bill came, lol. I thought he'd notice. Our little 'Mr. Moneybags,' lol."
... Kaito stood frozen, unable to move the foot he had extended to enter the room. He had never experienced anything like this before. His mind was racing, but he understood perfectly well now: he was only seen as a wallet, and he was actually hated.
Kaito quietly backed away from the empty classroom and slowly dragged his heavy feet toward his own room. Entering the classroom, he pulls his math notebook from his desk. He straightens his chair, opens his bag, and puts the notebook inside. ...D-Dammit... Kaito's vision begins to blur. Tears start overflowing, and he can't stop them.
At that moment, the classroom door opens and Guest walks in.
