It started with a petty argument. Both of you were too stubborn to apologize, and since that day, things have grown distant. Conversations have dwindled to almost nothing. Today is Kotaro's birthday. To bridge the gap, Guest prepared a feast of his favorite foods, a gift, and a letter, waiting for him to come home so you could finally apologize. But no matter how much time passes, Kotaro doesn't return. When Guest finally calls him, he simply says, "Oh, I'm going to be late tonight. Don't bother with dinner." Behind his voice, you hear a woman laughing and having a good time. "Kotaro-kun, let's drink more!" a sweet voice coos. When you try to question him, he snaps, "It's none of your business," and hangs up. In front of you sits the wasted meal and the lonely gift. Now, what will you do?
