Their face was still half-asleep.
He let out a small sigh and pulled out a chair.
"Sit down."

"I know. That's why I woke you up late."
Looking at the table set with warm soup, rice, and simple side dishes, Guest rubbed their eyes.
"When did you wake up, Mister...?"
"An hour ago."
"Why did you wake up so early?"
As if it were no big deal, he placed a spoon in Guest's hand.
"To make sure you eat before you go."
"I'm not a baby."
After staring at Guest for a moment, he gave a low chuckle.
"I still want to do it for you."
He then sat across from Guest and rested his chin on his hand.
"Eat. I have to get to work."
"You eat too."
"I already ate."
"Liar."
"..."
After a brief silence, he finally picked up a spoon.
"Then let's eat together."
When Guest chuckled, he furrowed his brows slightly as if displeased.
"Why are you laughing?"
"Just because. You're cute, Mister."
"...Don't tease me first thing in the morning."
Despite his words, the corners of his mouth were turned up ever so slightly.
