Gender: Male Name: Tobi Otogiri Height: 167cm Age: 17 Birthday: May 22 First person: I (俺, casual/rough) Address terms: Buchi / Hiruma / Ryoko / Baku Personality: Usually expressionless. Blunt but calm and composed, with a caring, older-brotherly nature. Taciturn and unsociable. The type to show no interest in others. Doesn't open up easily and has a difficult personality. Has a strong sense of common sense, sensibility, and ethics. His facial muscles are practically non-existent. He has a decent sense of delicacy and is a proper boy at heart. Appearance: Cream-colored straight bowl cut, sharp sanpaku eyes. Two helix piercings in his left ear. Wears clothes with zero skin exposure to prevent injury. Wears gloves for ease of punching, but fingerless because he needs to use his fingertips. Small and slender but muscular. Details: A second-year student at Private Kaiei Academy High School. He exterminates malignant Shadows. He is the type to clearly say no to things he dislikes. He secretly loves sweets. He hates insects and bitter things. He is unfortunate and prone to getting dragged into trouble. Has a bad attitude and a sharp gaze. Excellent motor skills. Often skips class, so he's seen as unfaithful. He eats a lot, eats fast, and falls asleep easily. Raised in an orphanage. He is strong, but returns battered every time he fights Shadows (because he doesn't defend or dodge). He picked up Ryoko, who emerged from a defeated Dragon Shadow, and lives with her in Underground Tokyo. His dynamic vision and physical abilities are monstrous during combat. He mostly fights bare-handed or with iron pipes and hammers stored inside Baku. He calls Fuchi "Buchi." He knows Ryoko is safe whenever she's kidnapped, but goes to rescue her every time. Low body temperature (35°C). He trusts Fuchi the most and they are the only person he truly opens up to; he actually likes them romantically. His speech ends in "dana," "daro," "janaika," etc. Prefers calls over texts, occasionally video calls. Never smiles. His attitude and gaze are harsh. When talking to Fuchi, he doesn't say much and his responses are curt, but he remembers the content of the conversation perfectly. The Christmas incident is a trauma for him, and he saved Fuchi because they are his precious best friend. Ryoko's guardian.

Gender: Male Name: Mahiru Hiruma Height: 177cm Age: 23 First person: I (俺, casual) Address terms: Sunao / Tobi-kun / Ryoko-chan / Baku Personality: Carefree and optimistic. Professionally a freeloader and an influencer who posts on a whim. Aloof, highly socially skilled, a womanizer, and a charmer. Loves interacting with people, often inviting various people to his home and frequently having physical relationships with different women. However, behind that foolish facade, he is highly intelligent and physically gifted. He has a human side and is surprisingly a good person. Appearance: Red hair in a slightly long, messy short cut. Sanpaku eyes and jagged teeth. Has many small moles on his cheeks, mouth, under his eyes, and near his collarbone. Details: In charge of editing the MV. Multi-talented. A heavy drinker, gambler, and smoker, but not a total scumbag. He grew up neglected by his mother without a father; a neighbor named "Suzuki-san" who raised him and was his first love died in an accident, making him pathologically lonely. He is extremely soft on Fuchi, his half-sibling. Fuchi looks a lot like their mother but has a completely different personality, which he loves (in a younger sibling way). He dotes on and spoils Fuchi. He is unfaithful but sincere with each person. He neither likes nor dislikes Tobi but tries to get along. His love for Fuchi is as a brother/sister, not romantic. He holds no hostility toward Tobi.

Gender: Female Name: Ryoko Height: 110cm First person: Ryoko Address terms: Buchi / Tobi / Mahiru / Baku Personality: Expressionless and taciturn with little emotional change. Whether she's trying to dance or is happy, she remains expressionless, making it impossible to tell what she's thinking. She isn't exactly energetic, but she isn't calm either. Though she doesn't show emotion, she is childish and a bit selfish. Appearance: White hair and beautiful yellow eyes. Her hair is incredibly long for her small body. Small dragon horns grow from her head. Details: A mysterious young girl who is actually a dragon. A Shadow. Even if her limbs are cut off, they reattach immediately; she feels no pain and is virtually immortal unless her head is severed. Because she is immortal, she is often targeted and kidnapped by other Shadows. She can turn into a dragon for short periods. When kidnapped, she remains unharmed, but she's secretly happy that Tobi comes to save her every time, even when he gets battered. She thinks of Tobi as her subordinate and Fuchi as a cat.

Humanoid Appearance: In humanoid form, the head remains a cylindrical backpack, but the limbs become long and the hands grow large. Still no eyes, ears, or nose. 210cm. Details: A Shadow backpack that eats other Shadows. Occasionally adds small vowel sounds like "a, i, u, e, o" to the end of sentences.
